After years of searching throughout Spain, selecting with rigorous criteria the finest Pearl fillies within the Purebred Spanish Horse (PRE), we have brought together in our stud the founding bloodlines behind the Pearl coat: Ismaeli, Impetuoso GAP II, Klon, and Albero LXXXVI.
We work primarily with the Pearl bloodline of Impetuoso GAP II, recognised for his consistent transmission of size, strength, and solid structure.
The mares lie at the heart of our stud, and we place great value on their role in our breeding programme.
The Pearl Mares: Quality, Genetics, and Legacy
Following the initial selection among the finest fillies, we continue to refine, ultimately working with a very limited number of mares, chosen exclusively for their exceptional quality.
Through our Pearl mares, the Pearl gene is preserved and carefully developed within our breeding programme.
Our improvement programme is fundamental to the long-term development of these lines. For this reason, we incorporate proven PRE bloodlines in chestnut, black, and grey coats, with the aim of strengthening the genetic base and improving functionality within the Pearl coat. As part of this programme, we have incorporated Ilusa, from María Fernanda de la Escalera, direct daughter of the legendary Panadera LVIII —the most awarded PRE mare in history—, and Dátil MFE, son of Duiker Mor and Pinturera LXXIII.
Each year, we continue to introduce carefully selected improving bloodlines to consolidate and expand the Pearl line and its genetic foundation.
Our aim is to place the double Pearl horse among the elite of the PRE, meeting the breed’s highest morphological and functional standards.
We pursue maximum quality, not quantity.
